Job summary

Generalist in the United States seeks a seasoned Data Partnerships/Vendor Manager to own the data engine for its embodied AI program. You will identify, vet, and onboard data partners, size the program, and supervise pilots from sourcing through delivery.

You will translate model requirements into actionable partner specs, negotiate terms, and manage unit economics while tracking cost, volume, and quality across geographies. Expect periodic travel to partner sites.

Qualifications

• 6+ years owning external partners or vendors delivering a product or service.
• Experience standing up a new vendor from zero: selection, diligence, contracting, ramp.
• Translating technical requirements into unambiguous instructions for execution.
• Fluency with pricing structures, SOWs, acceptance criteria, unit economics.
• Exceptional written communication.

Responsibilities

• Own data supply strategy: determine buy vs build and map vendor landscape.
• Source and diligence: evaluate and pilot new data partners; run structured trials.
• Elicit requirements: work with ML/engineering leads to extract volume, environments, and criteria.
• Translate specs: draft partner-facing specs and define delivery units and acceptance.
• Structure commercial terms: pricing, MSAs, SOWs and cost/unit economics.
• Scale partnerships into a network: add partners without sacrificing quality or cost.
• Maintain operating cadence: trackers, weekly reviews, forecasts of cost, volume, quality.
• Close the loop: feed data outcomes back to research to adjust specs.
• Travel: periodic domestic and international travel.
