Job summary

GDH is seeking a senior leader to oversee global data network operations from Chandler, AZ. The role guides strategy, governance, and day-to-day management of a distributed team to ensure reliability, security, and performance across data centers, branches, and cloud environments.

You will champion automation and AI-driven improvements, mentor managers, and align network functions with enterprise objectives while managing budgets and risk compliance in a rapidly evolving environment.

Qualifications

15+ years in large-scale network operations or related fields.
7+ years in senior leadership within global, regulated environments.
Experience with mission-critical incident management and 24x7 operations.
Certifications in network technologies preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for global data network operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards.
Lead and manage a large, distributed technical team providing advanced support across data centers, core networks, branches, and cloud environments.
Drive automation and AI initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, predictive maintenance, and rapid incident response.
Oversee diagnosis and resolution of complex network issues related to routing, switching, SD-WAN, firewalls.
Establish and track KPIs to improve network reliability and operational efficiency, including incident management metrics.
Build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, external suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
Promote culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and reliability through coaching, performance feedback, and development programs.
Ensure compliance with risk, security, and regulatory requirements across all network operations.
Manage budgets, resource planning, and workforce strategy to meet operational needs and organizational growth.
Lead initiatives for process simplification, workload reduction, and integration of modern operating models such as NOC, SRE, and automation capabilities.
