Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager II to lead DC power utilization management and data center capacity initiatives.

You will drive cross-functional programs across global infrastructure, collaborating with hardware, software, network, and supply chain teams to ensure safe, scalable, and cost-efficient operations. The role reports to the Data Center Delivery Business Operations Manager and focuses on global data center inventory, power topology

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
• Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies, related to infrastructure (i.e. network, data center, hardware, software).
• Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements and processes with stakeholders.
• Manage dependencies and interfaces between projects; negotiate trade-offs.
• Provide program progress reporting on a regular basis.
• End to end responsibility for the program’s execution and success.
• Manage multiple competing projects/programs simultaneously.
• Run meetings, create and maintain timelines; inform large groups of progress and obstacles.
• Ensure consistency in deployed configurations and track exceptions for follow-up.
• Develop and implement scalable, data-driven process improvement/automated solutions.
• Assist in daily operational tasks as part of the Data Center Delivery workflow.
