Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Seattle is seeking a skilled infrastructure program manager to own end-to-end delivery of data center capacity projects.

You will coordinate with stakeholders, manage dependencies, and drive timelines across multi-site initiatives. The role focuses on operational excellence for global infrastructure, with emphasis on scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency in a fast-paced cloud environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
• Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure (i.e. network, data center, hardware, software).
• Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds.

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to define requirements and processes.
• Manage the dependencies and the interfaces between projects and/or project deliverables, and negotiate any needed trade-offs.
• Provide program progress reporting on a regular basis.
• End to end responsibility for the program’s execution and success.
• Manage multiple competing projects/programs simultaneously.
• Run meetings, create and maintain timelines, and keep large, diverse groups informed of progress and obstacles.
• Ensure consistency in deployed configurations and track exceptions for follow up.
• Develop and implement scalable, data-driven process improvement/automated solutions.
• Assist in daily operational tasks as part of the overall Data Center Delivery workflow.
