Job summary

Amazon Web Services Infrastructure Operations is seeking a detail oriented Program Manager to lead data center capital and operational projects, driving reliability, performance and efficiency across complex environments.

You will coordinate with internal operations, engineering, finance, legal and procurement teams; manage budgets, schedules, and risk; develop SOWs, track progress, and ensure safe, scalable deployments across multiple sites worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience in project engineering, process engineering, program management or related roles.
• Experience in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk and critical path management.

Responsibilities

• Manage requirements, budget, design, and implementation of assigned projects.
• Assess maintenance program requirements and build a rolling 18 month project forecast.
• Facilitate creation of SOWs with partner teams for contract documents including RFQ/RFPs and invoicing.
• Evaluate performance and work product of on-site partners and escalate issues to leadership.
• Identify and communicate needs for design improvements.
• Monitor and enforce project schedules and quality with cross-functional teams and partners.
• Lead design and execution efforts between internal teams and outside partners including equipment specs and site layout.
• Evaluate project risks and propose actionable resolutions.
• Build relationships with data center leadership across multiple sites and with internal stakeholders.
