Job summary

Meta is hiring a Principal, Strategic Data Center Partnerships to shape Meta’s global data center portfolio and lead large-scale partnership initiatives aligned with AI goals.

The role requires deep experience in private equity, infrastructure development, and complex financial structuring, with a track record of delivering major capital projects and cross-functional leadership across finance, legal, design and engineering. Domestic and international travel is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in private equity, investments or infrastructure dev focused on data center/power infra.
• Proven financial structuring, investment analysis for infrastructure assets.
• Track record delivering large capital projects with complex structures.
• Strategic thinker able to influence executives in ambiguous environments.
• Analytical problem-solving and fast-paced hands-on project leadership across multiple stakeholders.
• Effective cross-functional collaboration and communication across design, finance, legal, and ops.
• Strong presentation skills and experience influencing leadership.
• Experience leading growing organizations and scaling teams.
• Experience assessing industry trends and competitive landscape in data center/power infra.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy for structuring, negotiating, and executing complex data center partnerships.
• Grow and lead strategic partnership program and identify development opportunities.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, construction, finance and legal to execute capacity targets.
• Lead financial modeling, valuation, and sensitivity analyses for investments.
• Align governance around partnership arrangements and long-term relationships.
• Interface with global investment and infrastructure community to meet needs.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed (25%+).
