Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in data center account management or related field.
• Strong commercial and contractual negotiation skills including NNN leasing structures & powered shell transactions.
• Solid knowledge of Internet interconnection, data center marketplace and provisioning processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with Data Center Operators to meet Akamai's needs for deploying high density servers.
• Organize regular business reviews with Data Centers to plan upcoming projects.
• Analyze the Data Center landscape to identify the right technical and commercial terms.
• Work with Partners and Vendors to identify cost-effective relationships and execute those agreements.
• Manage contract negotiations to ensure Akamai's platforms can scale efficiently for customer needs.
• Ensure capacity is upgraded in a timely/effective manner with internal and provisioning teams.
