Job summary

EOS IT Solutions seeks a Data Center Network Operations Lead to oversee hardware repair, fiber splicing, testing, and maintenance across large-scale environments. You will lead a team of technicians, diagnose issues via CLI tools, and ensure SLA-driven service delivery 24/7/365, with domestic travel up to 10%.

The role requires 5+ years in IT support with hardware diagnostics, 2+ years in people management, strong CLI proficiency, and experience with fiber, server, storage, and network hardware.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a technical discipline or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 5+ years of IT support, hardware diagnostics, and repair in enterprise environments.
• 2+ years of people management or team leadership or equivalent experience.
• Strong proficiency with CLI-based tools (Cisco CLI, Linux shell, iDRAC, iLO).
• Experience troubleshooting fiber, server, storage, and network hardware.
• Familiarity with network protocols (ping, traceroute, SNMP, syslog).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under high-availability pressure.
• Strong communication and leadership with a customer-focused mindset.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead field-based technical teams to meet SLA targets.
• Oversee hardware repair and fiber splicing operations.
• Document incident resolution and root-cause analysis.
• Manage ticket queues and escalations to ensure timely responses.
• Provide mentorship and ensure safety/compliance across the team.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for upgrades and maintenance windows.
• Ensure adherence to MOPs/CMOPs and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Provide on-call leadership coverage and workforce planning.
