Meta's Edge & Network Services team is actively looking for passionate people to help us tackle the unique set of challenges and opportunities we face, while contributing to our company mission of connecting the world. Our team designs, deploys, and supports production networks across Edge, Backbone, Optical, and Datacenter globally.

You'll work with the latest network tech, drive automation, and partner with software teams to build tooling for provisioning, monitoring, and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or equivalent experience.
• Experience with large-scale data center networks.
• Knowledge of structured cabling and fiber optics.
• Understanding data center design, startup and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design engineering and implementation of large-scale data center networks across locations.
• Research, develop and deploy technologies to scale data centers and deployments.
• Lead strategic initiatives to drive efficiency, innovation, and standardization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to influence networking futures.
• Influence data center and network designs for seamless integration of new infrastructure.
• Engage in the New Product Introduction process for network infrastructure.
• Partner with software teams to build tooling for provisioning, management, monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Create network design packages with multiple teams for deployment.
• Build business relationships with stakeholders, partners, and vendors.
• Develop automation tooling for consistent network design, deployment, and operations.
• Conduct site visits with construction and design teams to validate cabling and builds.
• Maintain technical reference, process and training documentation.
• Travel 25% to 40% based on project demand.
