Job summary

Meta's Edge & Network Services group is seeking a Network Engineer to design, deploy, and support large-scale data center networks worldwide. You will work with cutting-edge networking tech and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to implement reliable, scalable infrastructure.

The role requires deep data center experience, strong knowledge of TCP/IP and routing, and willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or equivalent required.
Experience designing and deploying large-scale data center networks.
Knowledge of TCP/IP routing and switching, including BGP/IS-IS.
Familiarity with fiber optic cabling and structured cabling standards.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams on large projects.
Experience with AI-enabled deployment improvements is a plus.

Responsibilities

Participate in design, engineering and deployment of large-scale data center networks across locations.
Research, develop and deploy technologies to scale data centers and optimize deployments.
Lead initiatives to improve efficiency, innovation, and standardization.
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to shape future network features.
Develop tooling to provision, monitor and troubleshoot networks.
Travel 25–40% as project demand requires.
