Meta's Edge & Network Services team is seeking passionate engineers to deploy and support production networks including data centers, edge, backbone, optical, and CDN infrastructure. You will design, implement and optimize large-scale data center networks across multiple locations, driving efficiency and standardization through automation and cross-functional collaboration.

Ideal candidates have deep experience in data center networking, TCP/IP, fiber optics, and leading cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience deploying large-scale data center networks.
• Knowledge of structured cabling and fiber optics.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design engineering and implementation of large-scale data center networks across locations.
• Research, develop and deploy technologies to scale data centers and optimize deployments.
• Lead strategic initiatives to drive efficiency and standardization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors for new features.
• Develop automation and tooling to drive consistency in design, deployment, and operations.
• Conduct site visits with construction and design teams to validate cabling per Meta standards.
• Generate network design packages for deployment teams.
