Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Warehouse and Logistics Manager to lead North American warehouse operations, inventory control, and vendor management for hardware and spares. You’ll optimize inbound receiving, outbound shipments, and third‑party logistics performance, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will partner with data center operations, procurement, and security to align delivery schedules, and you’ll build scalable processes as our hardware footprint grows.

Qualifications

• Experience managing warehouse or logistics operations for physical goods, including receiving, inventory control, and outbound shipping
• Hands-on experience with a warehouse management or inventory management system, and comfort working in spreadsheets to analyze inventory and shipment data
• Experience managing third‑party logistics providers or carriers, including negotiating service levels and holding vendors accountable to them
• Working knowledge of domestic freight (LTL, FTL, and parcel) and the documentation that goes with it
• Familiarity with safety and regulatory requirements for shipping and storing IT or electronic equipment, such as hazardous materials rules for lithium batteries
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across technical and non‑technical teams and external partners
• Demonstrated ability to build processes from scratch and keep operations running reliably as volume and complexity increase
• Ability to travel to warehouse and data center sites in the US as needed

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations across North America, including receiving, inspection, put-away, storage, cycle counting, and outbound fulfillment
• Own inventory accuracy and asset tracking for all infrastructure hardware, compute, spares, and consumables
• Plan and execute domestic freight and coordinate international shipments, selecting carriers and resolving delays/shortages
• Manage third‑party logistics providers, carriers, and freight forwarders, including onboarding and SLA tracking
• Coordinate with data center operations, hardware engineering, procurement, and security to align delivery schedules
• Operate reverse logistics for returns, RMAs, and end-of-life equipment with secure handling
• Build and document SOPs, checklists, and controls for warehouse activities and train staff/vendors
• Maintain compliance with safety, hazmat, export control, and customs requirements
• Define and report on operational metrics to drive continuous improvement
• Support capacity planning for warehouse space, staffing, and equipment
