Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Global Commodity Sourcing Manager to lead hardware procurement for its 200+ data centers. You will steer strategic sourcing, negotiate multi-party deals, and ensure alignment of deployments with global schedules.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience working with networking equipment OEMs.
• Direct experience executing complex datacenter infrastructure projects in a rapidly changing environment.
• Deep understanding of the commercial benefits of hardware technologies and practical knowledge of physical datacenter networking.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated AI-native curiosity with an instinct to spot normalized problems and create solutions using the latest tools.
• Basic experience leveraging AI tools (generative AI, LLMs, AI-driven data analytics) to optimize workflows.
• Engineering or heavy analytical background to support deep-dive Total Cost of Ownership modeling.
• Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or an engineering field (bonus).
• AI hardware knowledge and familiarity with GPUs and high-throughput interconnects (bonus).
• Program management experience across large cross-functional teams (bonus).
• Experience with DCIM and program management software (e.g., JIRA) (bonus).

Responsibilities

• Own procurement efforts across network hardware (routers, switches, interconnects).
• Lead complex, multi-party negotiations to hit supply goals.
• Oversee delivery terms and asset inventories for contracts.
• Introduce evaluation processes (RFX, QBR) with hardware engineering partners.
• Coordinate global installations aligning supply with deployment schedules.
• Identify and drive automation opportunities in deployment processes across regions.
