Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a passionate Technical Program Manager to lead prototype engagements and deployment programs for new hardware technologies across AWS data centers globally.

You will collaborate with Networking and Infra leadership to define requirements, timelines, and production deployment plans, ensuring rapid delivery in an agile environment. You will interface with partner teams to plan trials, document operational plans, and manage defects while maintaining focus on

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
• 3+ years of data center, network engineering, and/or systems engineering experience.
• Knowledge of data center infrastructure design, operations, or delivery.
• Experience in technical program management.

Responsibilities

• Write effective project charters based on business requirements for medium to large scale projects.
• Work with stakeholders (networking engineers/tech program managers/senior management, design engineers, operational deployment teams) to define requirements and processes.
• Manage the dependencies and the interfaces between projects and negotiate trade-offs if needed.
• Provide program progress reporting on a regular basis.
• End to end responsibility for the program's execution and success.
• Manage multiple competing projects/programs simultaneously.
• Develop and implement scalable, data-driven process improvement/automated solutions.
• Keep the customer experience as the primary focus.
• Meets/exceeds Amazon's leadership principles requirements for this role.
