Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Field Engineering Technical Program Manager to lead multi-discipline teams across data center engineering, operations, and procurement. The role emphasizes strong communication, strategic decision-making, and the ability to connect long-term AWS growth with current program needs.

Ideal candidates will have strong engineering judgment, project management experience, and the ability to build trust with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities.
• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• Experience developing and executing product/technical roadmaps influencing stakeholders.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in data centers.

Responsibilities

• Understand technical and business components of availability solutions to drive alignment across engineering, operations, procurement, legal, finance, and partners.
• Develop standards for tracking, reporting, and closure of risks.
• Prepare narratives for executive leadership with cost, timing, and trade-off recommendations.
• Capture and share TPM best practices with other managers in Data Center Engineering.
• Learn the AWS data center lifecycle globally.
