Job summary

Meta is seeking a forward-thinking people manager to lead the Capacity Team responsible for rack receipts, moves, and decommissioning across Meta's global data centers. You will guide engineers to optimize capacity planning, automate workflows, and ensure reliable delivery while partnering with FieldOps, logistics, and facilities.

This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of direct experience managing engineers and organizations.
• 7+ years of work experience with designing and deploying large-scale data center connectivity infrastructure.
• Thorough knowledge of structured cabling and infrastructure, including design and installation best practices, industry standards, application, and limitations.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams through partnership and driving large-scale data center or similar infrastructure design initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of the capacity function across multiple sites in a geographical area.
• Distribute the capacity workload based on projections, OKRs, and KPIs across skill-sets and priorities.
• Lead cross-functional stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery and rack SLAs across global sites.
• Create, maintain and enforce Standard Operating Procedures and runbooks for reliable capacity delivery.
• Lead strategic initiatives to improve efficiency, automation, and standardization of data center infrastructure.
