Job summary

Worldpay, LLC is seeking a Business Data Analyst I - Predictive Modeling, Statistics, Finance & Strategic Planning. The role supports the Pricing Data Analytics team and is hybrid, with three in-office days per week in Cincinnati, OH or Atlanta, GA.

The candidate will model with Snowflake, R and Python, and work with SQL and Tableau to analyze large data sets, collaborate with stakeholders, and help shape global pricing decisions.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Understanding of stakeholder groups and presentation skills.
• Experience with relational database structures, research methods, sampling techniques and system testing.
• Proficiency with large-scale data sets and scripting in Snowflake, R and Python; SQL and Tableau knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Use predictive modeling, statistics and trend analysis to identify data for analysis from internal and external sources.
• Assist business analysts in finding patterns and relationships in data.
• Build predictive models and test them on out-of-sample data; validate models in real-world use.

We’re looking for a Business Data Analyst I - Predictive Modeling, Statistics, Finance & Strategic Planning to join our ever-evolving Pricing Data Analytics team and help shape the future of global commerce. This role will be hybrid (working 3 days per week in office at either our Cincinnati, OH or Atlanta, GA locations). Please note this not a role that we can sponsor or transfer sponsorship now or in the future.

What you’ll own

• Using predictive modeling, statistics, trend analysis and other data analysis techniques to collect, explore and identify right data to be analyzed from internal and external sources
• Assists business analysts with finding patterns and relationships in data
• Builds predictive models using data, tests the model on results outside of the sample size and verifies model in real world
• Proactively and effectively interacts with other internal groups throughout Global Payments

What you’ll bring

• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant professional experience
• Strong understanding of internal business segment (stakeholders) and presentation skills
• Experience in relational database structures, research methods, sampling techniques and system testing
• Proficiency in working with large-scale business data sets, fluent in scripting in Snowflake, R and Python as well as knowledgeable in SQL and Tableau
