The Senior Manager, Data Policies & Enablement role drives the formation of the Data Strategy & Governance Office, developing enterprise policies and monitoring compliance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Six to Ten years of experience in data and AI governance, data policy development, and risk management and monitoring.
• Strong understanding of data and AI policies (privacy, security, governance), risk frameworks and control design, and regulatory environment (GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC2, NIST, EU AI Act).
• Experience implementing risk and compliance processes at scale, ideally in a global or federated organization.
• Familiarity with data and AI governance tools (catalog, quality, lineage, model decisioning), cloud data platforms, and governance considerations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to interpret complex policies and translate into execution.
• Stakeholder management across business and technical teams.
• Process design and operationalization expertise.
• Communication skills to simplify complex governance concepts.

Responsibilities

• Policy Development & Interpretation: Identify requirements for policy definition to align with internal and external standards.
• Develop and maintain global data and AI policies, standards, and policy frameworks across the enterprise.
• Bridge policy and execution by embedding governance into day-to-day operations and risk management activities.
