Job summary

Deloitte Global is seeking a Data Policies & Enablement Senior Manager to lead the formation of the Data Strategy & Governance Office (DSGO) and to shape enterprise data and AI policies. You will collaborate with policy owners, risk and technology teams to embed governance across the organization.

Role requires deep expertise in data governance, policy development, and risk monitoring, with focus on GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC2, NIST, and EU AI Act. Immigration sponsorship may be limited.

Qualifications

• Six to ten years of experience in data and AI governance, data policy development, and risk management.
• Strong understanding of data and AI policies, risk frameworks and regulatory environment impacting data and AI (GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC2, NIST, EU AI Act)
• Experience implementing risk and compliance processes at scale, ideally in a global or federated organization
• Familiarity with data and AI governance tools, cloud data platforms, and AI/data governance considerations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to interpret complex policies and translate into execution
• Stakeholder management across business and technical teams
• Process design and operationalization expertise
• Communication skills to simplify complex governance concepts

Responsibilities

• Identify requirements for policy definition to align with internal cyber security standards and external standards/frameworks (GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC2, NIST, EU AI Act)
• Develop and maintain global data and AI policies, standards, and policy frameworks
• Bridge policy and execution, embedding governance into day-to-day operations and risk management practices
