Tetra Pak in Vernon Hills, IL is seeking a Process Engineer to design and implement innovative process solutions for a wide range of projects. You will work closely with both our pre-projects and projects teams to deliver industry-leading solutions to our extensive customer base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Science Engineering, or Bioproducts Engineering.
• 2-3 years of experience in Food and Beverage; dairy experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (MS Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong knowledge in Process Design.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Exceptional people skills with the ability to communicate and present effectively.
• Quality-focused with a commitment to high standards.

Responsabilités

• Support projects from conceptual development (sales) through implementation to start of commercial operation.
• Work in a multi-project environment adapting to each project's needs.
• Ensure technical solutions and quality while aligning with customer needs.
• Collaborate with customers and colleagues in an international environment.
• Contribute to quotation development with pre-project manager and account managers.
• Estimate equipment costs and coordinate sourcing with the pre-project manager.
• Develop understanding of requirements for process engineering in dairy facilities, including P&IDs, layouts, and utilities.
• Develop knowledge of automation controls, instrumentation, and startup/commissioning.
