Job summary

Tetra Pak invites talented students to join the Process Engineering Internship in Winsted, Minnesota. You will gain hands-on experience in dairy processing, line sizing, and pump sizing under mentor guidance and via an onboarding program to accelerate your professional growth.

The internship runs May 31, 2027 to April 28, 2028, with full-time hours in the summer (May 31–Aug 13) and up to 20 hours/week thereafter. Visa sponsorship, relocation, or housing are not provided.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in college, ideally in your last two years.
• Majors: Bioproducts and Biosystems Engineering, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
• Ideally intermediate Excel and Word skills.
• Availability to work Full time during the summer.

Job Summary

This position is based in Winsted, Minnesota.

Salary Range: $22-$25 / hour

Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas, relocation, or housing for these positions.

What you will do

Process Engineering Intern

Duration : May 31, 2027 - April 28, 2028

(Full-time from May 31 - August 13, then part‑time max. 20 hours/week)

As our Process Engineering intern for Winsted, you will learn about the process of making cheese and other dairy products as well as the process that goes into sizing and specifying a process line. You will learn about and support us with detailed calculations for line sizing, pump sizing, and valve/control valve sizing.

Suggested majors/courses : Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Bioproducts and Biosystems Engineering.

We believe you have

Current enrollment in college, ideally in your last two (2) years of college, and you are interested in taking your career to the next level.

Suggested majors : Bioproducts and Biosystems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.

Ideally intermediate Excel and Microsoft Word skills

Availability to work Full time during the summer.
