Job summary

ASML is seeking a Customs Manager in San Diego to develop, implement, and govern a global customs strategy with a strong focus on U.S. compliance.

You will oversee risk management, partner with finance, legal, and other functions, and drive continuous improvement across governance frameworks. The role requires building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, monitoring regulatory changes, and representing the company in dealings with customs authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, international trade, supply chain management, law, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in customs compliance, international trade, or related regulatory disciplines.
• Experience managing customs compliance programs within the United States.
• Experience leading customs initiatives in a complex, matrixed organization.
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive compliance across multiple functions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor customs laws and regulations and assess their impact on ASML’s business operations.
• Advise leaders and stakeholders on customs implications related to business decisions and strategic initiatives.
• Partner with finance, legal, compliance, and other business functions to provide integrated customs guidance.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve customs compliance policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
• Maintain and enhance customs control frameworks, with a strong focus on U.S. customs compliance and risk mitigation.
• Lead or support business improvement projects as the customs subject matter expert.
• Represent ASML in interactions with customs authorities, including audits, rulings, agreements, and regulatory discussions.
