Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a Director of Global Customs Operations and Compliance to lead our customs operations, trade compliance programs, and transportation activities for a complex, global supply chain.

This role partners across Supply Chain, Transportation, Sourcing, Merchandising, Finance, Legal, and Operations to mitigate risk and drive landed cost optimization. The ideal candidate brings deep regulatory expertise, strong leadership, and a demonstrated ability to implement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• Active U.S. Customs Broker License is preferred.
• 10+ years in customs operations, trade compliance, or related functions.
• 8+ years in leadership of teams in relevant areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead customs operations, import clearance, and trade compliance programs.
• Serve as escalation point for compliance issues and customer concerns.
• Ensure timely and compliant U.S. customs entries across transport modes.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and best practices.
• Lead technology and process transformation in GTM and compliance.
