Job summary

PUMA Group seeks a Customs Analyst to support the Head of Customs in enforcing policies that ensure full compliance with U.S. Customs regulations for import operations.

The role includes classification, auditing entries, and daily collaboration with the company’s Customs broker. Responsibilities include maintaining product classifications, liaising with brokers, and keeping current on UFLPA and other trade policies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and Harmonized Tariff classifications
• 3–5 years of experience with U.S. Customs in footwear/apparel
• Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel) and Access database experience
• Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks, and prioritize
• Detail oriented, organized and efficient

Responsibilities

• Determine the US Customs classification of products (US/Canada)
• Interface with US/Canadian Customs brokers to classify products for duty
• Maintain a global product classification database in internal system PID
• Stay current on Customs policy and regulations to ensure compliance
• Process shipments and assist with international trade activities including returns
• Educate stakeholders on UFLPA and other US trade policies
• Perform data analysis and special projects as needed
