Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a Customs Supervisor to lead a team responsible for the timely and compliant clearance of goods, coordinating with customs authorities and clients to minimize delays.

The role requires strong knowledge of customs regulations, several years in logistics, and the ability to train staff, supervise workflow, and communicate effectively across departments. This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in customs brokerage, freight forwarding, or a related logistics field.
• Strong understanding of customs regulations, import/export processes, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with customs software and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team to ensure timely and compliant clearance of goods.
• Liaise with customs authorities and clients to minimize delays.
• Monitor shipment documents and auditing; ensure regulatory adherence.
• Provide training and guidance on Customs Brokerage Regulations.
• Escalate unresolved issues or risks before they affect operations.
• Coordinate with other departments and branches to deliver high level of service.
