FedEx Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented import coordinator to support US customs documentation, classification, and data entry for shipments entering the United States. You will provide impeccable customer service, collaborate with carriers and government agencies, and ensure compliance with import/export regulations.

HS diploma or GED required; no industry experience needed, 6 months preferred; paid training provided; strong MS Office/Outlook skills and the ability to work across multiple

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Data entry/keyboard experience required.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and Outlook using multiple screens/windows.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Organizational and inter-personal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate documentation required by US Customs and Government Agencies for entry of goods.
• Provide impeccable customer service.
• Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release.
• Data entry and processing of import documentation for submission to US Customs.
• Maintain and keep current shipment documentation in compliance with record keeping requirements.
• Adhere to all importing/exporting regulations.
• Work with internal staff, carriers, brokers, and government agencies to deliver high level of service.
• Process agency brokerage shipments; may handle remote filings.
• Ensure all policies are followed; participate in other duties as assigned.
