Job summary

FedEx Logistics in the United States is seeking an Import Documentation Coordinator to coordinate required documentation for US Customs and government agencies for entry of goods.

You will provide impeccable customer service, classify goods for customs release, perform data entry, maintain records, and ensure compliance with importing/exporting regulations. The role is hybrid, with training onsite and ongoing collaboration with internal teams, carriers, brokers and government agencies.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• No industry experience required; minimum 6 months work experience preferred.
• Proficient in data entry and basic computer systems.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate documentation for US Customs/Government Agencies for entry of goods.
• Provide impeccable customer service.
• Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release.
• Data entry and processing of import documentation for submission to US Customs.
• Maintain shipment documentation in compliance with record-keeping requirements.
• Adhere to international importing/exporting regulations.
• Work with internal staff, other FedEx operations, and customers to deliver high-level service.
• Process agency brokerage shipments.
• May handle remote filings.
• Ensure all government and organizational policies are followed.
• Performs other duties as assigned. Paid Training Provided.
