Job summary

Spreetail is seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst to strengthen import operations, audits, and compliance. The role involves building scalable tools to improve data accuracy, reduce duty overspend, and support global trade operations.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, brokers, and finance to optimize customs processes, validate duties, and implement dashboards and automation that drive efficiency and reduce risk. Remote-ready with opportunities to work from various locations.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to identify documentation and duty calculation errors and quantify financial impact.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams to manage compliance risks proactively.
• Advanced spreadsheet and data analysis skills with experience creating reports, calculators, dashboards, or automation to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Experience with customs brokers, PSCs, and importer of record compliance.
• Familiarity with import/export processes and HTS classification, valuation, and country of origin requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own Post Summary Corrections (PSCs) and validate duty payments; monitor broker performance; recover overpayments with Finance.
• Analyze import data to identify compliance risks and duty savings opportunities; develop dashboards and reporting tools.
• Collaborate with Transportation, Finance, Merchandising, brokers, and cross-functional teams to improve customs processes and data integrity.
