Job summary

Expeditors, a global logistics company, is seeking an Operations professional for an in-office role in Uniondale, NY. You will handle import documentation, data entry, and timely processing with Customs, while aligning with KPI targets and customer expectations.

The position requires strong English communication, excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in MS Office with a minimum 40 wpm typing speed. In-person involvement is essential.

Qualifications

• Professional oral and written communication skills in English and native language.
• Demonstrated exceptional internal customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Focus on receiving import documents and logging files in Expeditors’ system.
• Transfer data from commercial documents to Expeditors’ system.
• Ensure timely pre and post entry requirements from inception to processing with Customs.
• Meet KPI standards and contribute to department goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and Customs authorities.
