Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (completed and verified before start)
• Ten (10) years’ experience in end‑to‑end solutions architecture with customer engagement experience in a private, public, government or military environment
• Master’s degree highly desired
• 15+ years of customer engagement experience to drive business opportunitiesSkills include deep EE architecture knowledge especially in automotive, customer presentation, business acumen, product portfolio understanding

Responsibilities

• Leads Ownership of 3M’s E/E Technology & Solution Roadmap. Turn industry trends into 3M end-to‑end E/E architecture solutions by shifting customer engagement toward system-level problem solving vs. product selection.
• Implements modular, platform‑based EE architecture 3M solutions that enable reuse across customers, regions, and product lines.
• Determines white spaces including Future E/E architecture concepts tied to Pre‑RFQ and platform definition.
• Supports business by driving R&D investment priorities including Technology incubation and seeding through M&A or partnership needs and opportunities to deliver first‑to‑market concepts and unlocking new revenue opportunities for 3M.
