Job summary

International Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Assistance Coordinator to deliver excellent customer service for travelers and policyholders. The role covers inbound and outbound inquiries, claim setup, and policy updates, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and HIPAA compliance.

Initial in-office training with daily commuting to the Indianapolis office is required; after training and eligibility criteria are met, remote work may be available. Multiple 8-hour shift options will follow training.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a customer service role analyzing and resolving inquiries.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and navigate multiple systems during calls.
• Basic level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proactive, self-motivated with a positive attitude and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Answer a high volume of inbound and outbound inquiries via phone, email, and chat with professionalism and HIPAA compliance.
• Provide outbound communication as instructed and update customers on claims, benefits, and policy changes.
• Document outcomes in the CRM system and maintain accurate records.
• Availabilty to work some holidays and weekends; adapt scheduling as needed to support growth.
• Mentor new employees when asked and support special projects.
