Job summary

Diodes Incorporated in Plano, TX is seeking a Customer Quality Engineer to champion quality across processes, products, and services for North America and Asia. You will act as the technical liaison between customers, failure analysis labs, factories and suppliers, leading 8D investigations and audits to continuously improve customer quality metrics.

Requires a BS/MS in Electrical Engineering with 5–10 years in semiconductor manufacturing, strong English communication, and willingness to travel

Qualifications

BS/MS in Electrical Engineering with 5–10 years in semiconductor manufacturing.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Excellent English written and spoken communication.
Familiarity with JEDEC, AEC-Qxxx, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 26262, VDA 6.3, PPAP.
Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

Act as quality rep and single point of contact to customers across the product lifecycle.
Liaise between customers, failure analysis labs, factories and suppliers.
Lead cross-functional failure analyses and 8D reports.
Support product/process qualification and reliability assessments.
Facilitate customer audits, quality meetings and scorecard reviews.
Drive change management and PCN processes with global factories.
