Job summary

nVent seeks a senior leader to own enterprise customer data governance, from hierarchies to segmentation, ensuring data serves as a competitive asset. You will drive standards, oversee data quality, and partner across business units to enable data-driven decisions while complying with regulatory obligations.

As the central authority for customer data policies, you will collaborate with IT, privacy, legal, and business leaders to align data strategies with enterprise goals and complex data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in data management, business analysis, or related roles with increasing responsibility.
• 5+ years of direct experience with customer data, master data management, or data governance in enterprise environments.
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and driving organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Champion and govern the complete customer data domain across enterprise systems, ensuring data as a product.
• Establish enterprise-wide customer data standards and drive continuous improvement in data quality and value.
• Lead cross-functional governance initiatives for policy development and strategic direction.
• Coordinate with Data Stewards on onboarding, lineage, and system mappings.
• Ensure GDPR/privacy compliance and regulatory readiness across business units.
