Job summary

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a Senior Data Governance Manager, Operations NA, based in Denver to lead governance, quality, and data definitions across NA operations. You will partner with leaders, data owners, and tech teams to standardize definitions, resolve data issues, and embed governance into daily processes.

The role demands hands-on governance expertise, strong collaboration, and the ability to scale data practices across enterprise platforms like Purview, Fabric, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data management, information systems, computer science, engineering, business, or related field.
• Five+ years of experience in data governance, data management, analytics, or data products.
• Experience implementing governance models, ownership, stewardship, glossaries, catalogs, and data-quality processes.
• Hands-on with catalog, metadata, lineage, data-quality, observability, AI governance lifecycle tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Operations data-governance framework, roadmap, decision rights, and operating practices.
• Operationalize data-owner and data-steward responsibilities across Operations functions.
• Facilitate governance decisions and resolve cross-functional data issues.
• Partner with business to establish quality rules, thresholds, and controls.
• Promote consistent definitions across data products, dashboards, and analytics.
• Coordinate documentation of data lineage and align with enterprise standards.
• Leverage automation to accelerate governance workflows and testing.
