Job summary

The Fifth Third Bank is seeking an Institutional Account Administrator II in Cincinnati, OH. You will support Relationship Managers on a complex group of custody accounts, handling daily processing, risk controls, and client inquiries while ensuring compliance and service levels.

You will mentor teammates, participate in projects, and coordinate with operations, technology and back-office teams to balance cash flows, securities activity and reporting for domestic and global accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Proven excellent customer service skills.
• Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines.
• Familiarity with securities systems and technology including Fifth Third Direct, Bloomberg.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Fully understand client expectations to exceed service levels.
• May be temporarily assigned to a lead role during times of limited supervisory coverage.
• Verify and approve daily custody processing activities.
• Lead or assist with special projects.
• Serve as backup to Global Custody Services Supervisor.
• Suggest process improvements and escalate issues promptly.
• Train and mentor new team members.
• Operate as primary contact for assigned custody accounts and monitor activity.
• Research and resolve client issues and communicate promptly.
