Job summary

Fifth Third Bank is seeking an Institutional Account Administrator II in Farmington Hills, MI to support Relationship Managers on complex custody accounts. The role delivers high-touch service, ensures regulatory compliance, and improves processing quality within a busy operations environment.

You will act as the primary client contact, coordinate with back-office processing, and participate in risk management while mentoring new staff and handling multiple accounts with varying priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2 years as Global Custody Administrator I or 4 years in financial services, preferably in securities processing.
• Proven excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Familiarity with securities systems and technology including Fifth Third Direct and industry tools.

Responsibilities

• Fully understand client expectations to exceed service standards.
• Lead or assist with special projects and process improvements.
• Verify and approve daily processing activities within the custody team.
• Provide support to team members and mentor new staff.
• Research and resolve client issues with timely communication.
• Ensure compliance and risk controls are followed across operations.
