Job summary

TikTok is seeking interns to join our monetization and platform engineering teams in Los Angeles. You will design and develop applications for monetization capital, including advertising billing, fund management, fund marketing, settlement, and budget control, working closely with platform teams.

This internship offers hands-on experience, industry exposure, and opportunities to apply knowledge to real-world challenges while building a strong foundation for growth and career development.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include BS/MS in CS/CE or related discipline.
• Deep understanding of computer architectures, data structures, and algorithms.
• Strong coding and documentation style.
• Familiar with MySQL, Redis, Flink, ElasticSearch, Kafka, and RPC.
• Hands-on software development experience, particularly with Java.
• Excellent communication, business sense, and ability to integrate tech with business.
• Capable of a 12-week full-time Summer 2027 commitment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop applications related to TikTok's monetization capital business (advertising billing, fund account management, fund marketing, settlement, budgeting).
• Contribute to resolving stability challenges (high concurrency, scalability, disaster recovery).
• Continuously optimize the system to evolve with business needs and support growth.
