Job summary

SpaceX seeks a Starlink Crisis Response Manager to own the end-to-end crisis response lifecycle, from readiness through active response to post‑event improvements. You will coordinate with customers, partners, and agencies to ensure rapid, accurate restoration of services in critical situations.

The role requires experience in high‑pressure environments, collaboration with federal and local agencies, and the ability to operate without direct team management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with substantial crisis/operations experience.
• 4+ years in business operations, project management, crisis coordination, or strategic planning.
• 1+ year in a customer-facing role.
• 2+ years in data analysis, reporting, or performance metrics (Excel dashboards).

Responsibilities

• Own crisis response end-to-end: readiness, activation, execution, post‑event improvements.
• Develop and maintain the market response plan including kits, logistics, staffing, onboarding, and activation paths.
• Monitor readiness KPIs and address gaps before field failures.
• Lead the response during events with clear direction on operating picture, tasks, and leadership messaging.
• Coordinate with Customer Success, Sales, Operations, Logistics, Legal, and Engineering under pressure.
• Serve as primary contact for emergency stakeholders globally and translate needs into Starlink actions.
• Build engagement frameworks, onboarding processes, and long‑term partner relationships.
• Turn field feedback into product/process improvements to speed future responses.
• Identify scalable improvements that do not require headcount growth.
