Job summary

Universal Beauty Products, Inc. is seeking a Regulatory Associate to ensure domestic and global cosmetic regulatory compliance. You will partner with R&D and quality to address regulatory questions from agencies and support new product introductions.

This on-site role requires tracking regulations, drafting regulatory filings, aligning labeling, coordinating translations, and collaborating with suppliers and contract manufacturers to uphold compliance.

Qualifications

• Regulatory experience in cosmetics or related field preferred but not mandatory.
• Understanding of product lifecycle, design control or risk management.
• Ability to represent regulatory compliance in cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of FDA, Health Canada, EPA, OSHA, CARB and EU requirements preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain current knowledge base of existing and emerging regulations, standards, or guidance documents; disseminate information as appropriate.
• Support Quality Management System compliance including writing and revising relevant SOPs, training functional groups, design document review, change management, and constructively implementing compliance mechanisms for new regulations and regulatory guidance
• Helps coordinate, support, and author clear and concise regulatory filings and responses for both domestic and international establishment / product registrations.
• Under general supervision, responsible for aligning product labeling content with state and federal regulations.
• Actively participate in evaluating the regulatory compliance of document / product / process / test method changes.
• Manage the revision history of all product labeling and coordinate the translation of approved product labeling into the required languages of international markets while upholding all applicable requirements.
• Coordinator and facilitate communication and collaboration with external partners such as suppliers and contract manufacturers, to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company's policies and practices
