Job summary

Remitly is seeking a Counsel, Corporate to advise on a broad range of corporate governance matters, securities regulation, equity administration, and M&A. You will report to the Director of Legal and collaborate with colleagues across the United States and globally.

The role is based in Seattle, WA, with a hybrid in-office requirement on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. You will help drive regulatory compliance, corporate finance transactions, and international expansion while translating

Qualifications

• J.D. degree with bar admission in WA/CA/NY.
• 3+ years in corporate governance or securities.
• Experience with cross-border workflows and M&A.
• Ability to operate in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Advise on corporate governance and securities laws workflows, including SEC disclosures, board processes, and compensation matters.
• Support expansion, entity maintenance, equity administration, M&A, and intercompany agreements.
• Identify and implement process improvements to help scale the Legal department.
