Job summary

Intermedia is seeking a VP, Corporate Controller to lead the global accounting organization from its San Francisco Bay Area headquarters. You will oversee GAAP reporting, audits, tax, and internal controls while partnering with the CFO and executive team on financial strategy and growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• BS/Accounting or Finance degree from a four-year university
• CPA (inactive is fine)
• 15+ years progressive accounting management experience with some Big-Four experience
• Industry experience - Software, SaaS, Unified Communications and/or Telecom
• Strong expertise in U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and audit leadership
• Solid working knowledge of SOX compliance requirements
• Strong experience in accounting for consolidations and other business combinations; international and multi-currency accounting
• Experience managing debt / leveraged capital structure
• Experience partnering with executive leadership to support business growth and operational excellence
• Proven success building and developing high-performing teams

Responsibilities

• Lead all global accounting operations with GAAP-compliant reporting and close processes
• Oversee external audits, regulatory compliance, and direct/indirect tax functions
• Maintain accounting policies and systems in accordance with GAAP
• Support acquisition due diligence, integrations, and strategic initiatives
• Navigate new accounting standards to enhance GAAP financial statements
• Prepare annual financial projections in GAAP with FP&A team
• Develop and maintain process documentation for AI-enabled efficiency gains
• Partner with CFO and leadership on financial strategy and enterprise value creation
• Develop and mentor a high-performing global accounting team
