Job summary

United Sports Brands in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead global financial reporting, month‑end close, audits and treasury execution. This role drives GAAP compliance and risk management while partnering across sales, operations and HR.

You will supervise a team of about 10 staff, oversee multi‑entity consolidation, inventory costing and tax compliance, and participate in ERP systems projects including an upgrade planned for 2028.

Qualifications

• Experience in all aspects of finance including inventory management, A/P, A/R, tax, cash flow, cost control and reporting.
• Hands-on technician with leadership of a department of about 10 people.
• Experience with GAAP compliance and external audits; knowledge of consumer products is a plus.
• ERP implementation/upgrade experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead General Accounting, Inventory Cost Accounting, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
• Global consolidation and reporting of actuals; maintain multi-entity trial balances and prepare monthly financial statements.
• Oversee Financial Statement Audit, internal controls and compliance.
• Drive AI-enabled automation of accounting processes and ERP initiatives.
• Manage treasury activities and bank/credit facility relationships.
• Coordinate tax compliance (federal, multi-state, sales) and liaise with outside tax advisors.
• Support entity permits and multi-state filings; oversee risk and insurance programs.
• Provide leadership and development for a finance team of ~10 staff.
