Automatic Data Processing, Inc. seeks a Corporate Controller in Costa Mesa, CA to lead financial reporting, close processes, and global consolidation for a consumer products business. The role supervises a team, ensures GAAP compliance and controls, and guides tax, treasury, and ERP initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on senior accountant with CPA/CMA/MBA, strong analytical and cross-functional leadership skills, and experience with ERP systems and high-volume inventory accounting.

Formación

• Experience in all aspects of finance and accounting with strong GAAP knowledge.
• CPA, CMA, or MBA is required.
• Consumer products industry experience and inventory accounting a plus.
• Hands-on technical leader capable of managing a ~10 person team.
• Experience with ERP implementations and multi-state tax considerations.
• Proven ability to analyze data, drive process improvements, and collaborate across functions.

Responsabilidades

• Lead General Accounting, Inventory Cost Accounting, A/P and A/R functions.
• Oversee global consolidation, monthly close, and financial reporting.
• Manage external audits, internal controls and compliance.
• Advise on AI-enabled automation of accounting processes.
• Support bank facilities negotiations and treasury execution.
• Coordinate federal and multi-state tax compliance and coordination with external tax accountants.
• Manage legal entity filings and multi-state permits.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with sales, finance, marketing, R&D, HR and vendors.
• Provide leadership in ERP and IT system design, including ERP upgrade planning.
• Recruit, coach, and develop the accounting team; maintain performance objectives.
