Job summary

Brightstar Lottery in Providence, RI seeks a communications strategist to join our Corporate Communications team, supporting worldwide PR initiatives for Global Lottery and Sustainability.

You will collaborate with marketing, sales, operations, people & culture, government relations/public affairs, and senior executives globally to develop plans, draft releases, and raise Brightstar’s profile as a sustainability leader across iLottery and printing solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, Journalism, or related discipline.
• 6+ years in public relations or corporate communications.
• Understanding of sustainability, ESGs and corporate communications fundamentals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Experience collaborating across geographies.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Integrity and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Develop communications plans and execute campaigns for sustainability achievements and certifications, and annual sustainability activities.
• Provide significant communications support for the annual Sustainability Report.
• Draft news releases related to Global Lottery and Sustainability.
• Develop strategic public relations activities for Brightstar Global Lottery products, incl. iLottery.
• Identify new ways to raise internal and public awareness of Brightstar’s sustainability leadership.
