Job summary

Brightstar Lottery in Lansing, MI is seeking a Retail Merchandising Associate to drive sales and manage lottery product presentation across assigned retail locations.

You will work with retailers to optimize displays, educate players, and ensure compliance with standards of excellence; strong communication and Excel skills are valued.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of sales experience in retail or wholesale.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for work on company devices.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage product inventory, display, and presentation.
• Optimize the inventory mix at retail locations through planogram, instant ticket ordering, and returns.
• Ensure customers’ Standards of Excellence are met at all points of retail distribution.
• Educate retailers and players to maximize sales.
• Review statistics with retailers on a consistent basis.
• Follow lottery procedures such as picking up, dropping off, transferring, closing, and returning tickets to the warehouse.
• Complete required paperwork and assist with other projects as assigned.

Responsibilities

As our next Retail Merchandising Associate, you will be responsible for driving sales within an assigned territory of Lansing, MI.. It is within that responsibility that you will be asked to:

Qualifications

We want our newest team member to have a strong grasp of Microsoft Word, Excel, and experience with PowerPoint for work on company-provided tablets or computers. You will also need to have a valid driver's license, be able to lift up-to 50 pounds, and must reside in the region.

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range for this role is $29,120 – $52,458. The actual pay offered may be higher or lower. The Company complies with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is one part of our Total Rewards program. Non-exempt roles are eligible for irregular discretionary bonuses.
