Vertex Inc. is seeking a Senior Director, Solution Architect – Core Technology to lead an integrated architecture strategy across cloud, collaboration, and end-user computing in a global, regulated biopharma environment.

The role partners with Security to co-architect cybersecurity capabilities, drives governance, and shapes a unified AI and digital workplace strategy across Microsoft 365, Azure, and enterprise networks. Hybrid/onsite flex.

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years of IT infrastructure and workplace technologies experience.
• Proven experience in solution architecture or enterprise architecture leadership.
• Experience operating in complex, global enterprise environments.
• GxP-regulated environments such as biotech/pharma/healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end solution architecture across Core Technology domains.
• Partner with Information Security to co-architect cybersecurity platforms.
• Establish architecture governance, standards, and reference patterns.
• Influence cross-domain direction across federated teams without direct authority.
