McFadyen Digital is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead the day-to-day accounting operations for a multi-entity professional services firm with US, India, and Brazil activity. You will own the monthly close, financial reporting, and core accounting processes for U.S.

operations while supporting global consolidation efforts. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who thrives in a lean, fast-moving environment, values initiative and ownership, and can mentor a global accounting staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA or active CPA candidacy preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience including monthly close.
• Experience in a multi-entity organization; professional services or tech services preferred.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks; NetSuite OpenAir a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own U.S. monthly and annual close, journal entries, and reconciliations per GAAP.
• Manage cash, AR/AP, and multi-state payroll; monitor cash flow.
• Support global reporting, intercompany consolidations, and transfer pricing.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors; prepare schedules.
• Lead and grow global accounting teams; improve close processes and controls.
• Oversee financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and ad hoc analyses.
