Job summary

Alchemy is seeking a Controller to build and lead the end-to-end accounting function for a high-growth blockchain platform. You will supervise a growing team, strengthen controls, and translate complex financial data into clear insights for executives and the board.

The role covers general ledger, AP/AR, multi-entity and multi-currency consolidations (including Romania), tax planning, audits, and the ongoing modernization of our financial systems like NetSuite, Orb, Zip, and Ramp.

Qualifications

Set strategy for the accounting function and team.
Oversee general ledger, AP, AR, and multi-entity consolidations.
Ensure US GAAP compliance and regulatory requirements.
Develop scalable accounting systems, policies, and controls.
Audit readiness with documentation, controls and reporting infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Set long-term direction for accounting function and team.
Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
Architect scalable financial systems and optimize core tech stack (NetSuite, Orb, Zip, Ramp).
Develop policies and controls to promote accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Sales, People, Engineering, and Product.
