Job description

Altuva Group is a new class of public-market investment platform built to reallocate mispriced capital, rooted in special situations thinking and designed to compound. We're pioneering a completely new investment model.

We are not a traditional fund. We are not here to collect salaries. We're here to build something transformational - fast, lean, and with enormous impact. If you're hungry, driven, and want to help pioneer a new type of investing style, read on.

We are looking for a technically strong Financial Controller to own the accounting and consolidated reporting of a NASDAQ-listed public company growing rapidly through acquisition. As we close transactions, you consolidate. As the group expands, you scale the function. This is a pure accounting role - technical, precise, and high ownership.

What You'll Do:

  • Prepare and own consolidated financial statements across multiple legal entities and acquired subsidiaries
  • Manage the full monthly, quarterly, and annual close process under US GAAP
  • Handle intercompany eliminations, purchase price allocations (PPA), and opening balance sheet adjustments post-acquisition
  • Ensure technical compliance with ASC 805 (Business Combinations) and ASC 810 (Consolidation)
  • Own SEC reporting obligations including 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings
  • Manage the external audit process end-to-end
  • Design and implement internal controls, accounting policies, and reporting infrastructure across the consolidated group
  • Liaise with tax advisors on multi-entity group tax compliance

What We're Looking For:

  • CPA qualified with 8+ years of experience
  • Public Company Accounting Oversight Board experience
  • Big 4 background required - audit or assurance preferred
  • Experience as Financial Controller or Senior Accounting Manager at a NASDAQ or NYSE listed public company
  • Strong technical US GAAP knowledge - consolidation, business combinations, and multi-entity reporting
  • Experience managing external auditors and delivering clean, timely audit completions
  • Someone who builds the function, not just maintains it

This Is Not:

  • A finance, FP&A, or investing role
  • A role with a long review chain above you
  • A position for someone who needs a fully built infrastructure to operate in

If you're a technically rigorous accountant ready to own the books of a high-growth public platform, we want to talk.
