Job summary

Bitwise is seeking a seasoned Global Controller to design, institute, and lead a world-class accounting function across multiple jurisdictions. You will own the integrity of the company’s accounting environment, establish consistent policies, and build scalable processes to support growth.

The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, overseeing US GAAP, IFRS where relevant, and cross-border consolidation, while driving audit readiness and remediation initiatives.

Qualifications

• CPA licensed.
• Deep expertise in US GAAP, consolidation, and foreign currency accounting.
• Experience leading multi-entity or public-company accounting.
• Crypto or asset-management industry experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the global accounting function and serve as the senior accounting authority across all entities.
• Design and maintain scalable global accounting architecture and reporting standards.
• Assess accounting practices, balances, and processes to identify risks and drive resolution.
• Oversee policy framework and technical accounting for complex matters under US GAAP.
